Thank you for your interest in Affinity Ranch Workshops. The following programs are open for registration. Select up to 5 workshops you would like to register for. Class times are listed, but you should plan to check-in 15 minutes before class start. Registrations will end approximately 2 days before class start date.

 This offering of the Voiced Unbridled class is specific for children between the ages of 2 and 3 who are AAC users. Experience connection through horse bonding, horseback riding, music, and barn activities. Meaningful opportunities to build confidence with communication, and connect with other AAC users - all supported by a team of specialists; an Assistive Technology Specialist and Speech Therapist, a Music Therapist and Teacher of the Visually Impaired, and an Equine Specialist.

What to Expect
Each participant will enjoy 20 minutes of one-on-one horse bonding and riding in the arena with Kieva D'Angelo, and an Equine Specialist, and a volunteer. These meaningful experiences, combined with additional activities, will provide opportunities for language development and AAC learning. Kieva works closely with the team to ensure your child has meaningful and enriching opportunities for growth.

For the remaining time, your child will join their three peers in a separate area with Sharon Kay-Brown. Through music, movement, and sensory integration activities, Sharon will create immersive AAC and language experiences designed to deepen understanding and anchor the day’s activities in a fun and meaningful way.

No matter which AAC system your child uses, we are likely fluent with it! Our team has experience with a wide variety of communication devices and language organizations. If your child uses a system we are unfamiliar with, we will ensure we learn and incorporate it seamlessly into the camp experience.
